Writing this blog...
I am mindful that I have neglected my blog of late... life is very busy, but it struck me that I really enjoy reading about the busy lives of other artists, so maybe I should dedicate a bit more time to mine...
So what have I been doing... Well my exciting news is that my work is now represented at Innerspace WA, a beautiful interior design business in the city. It was such a thrill to see my work accompanying the furniture designs of Mark Tuckey - who I have been a huge fan of for years. The space was styled beautifully by the team at Innerspace, my paintings were really at home with the furniture etc.
I have been very busy with my painting - and life in general. At the moment I am spending quite a bit of time investigating artist residencies in Europe - part of my grand life plan for 2018. I may have left my run a bit late, but here's hoping that I will find something to go along with some very rare time without work in late 2018. I dream of being able to really focus on my work on a daily basis... and believe that an artist residency would be a gift to my work...
And on the sold front - this one of Middleton Beach was delivered to a very special new owner on the weekend. Called Postero Tempus (Next Step) I think this is a perfect fit for this person.... It was a very special painting for me and I could not be happier with its new home.
