Sketchbook & Journalling Workshop
You don't need to be an artist to keep a journal or sketchbook. Everyone is able to create a book of memories - something that is very personal and meaningful. This workshop will introduce you to some quick and easy techniques for creating your own journal, as well as explore some of my own personal ethos regarding journalling and sketching.
Key ideas will include -
-
My own sketchbook story and philosophy
-
Why, where, what & how...
-
Basic materials and ideas for various sketchbook processes
-
Quick and easy drawing skills (perfection is very much not the aim)
-
Introduction to watercolours and other media
-
Putting it into practice... you will start messing up your journal
What to bring -
Nothing - your workshop cost will include a new Moleskine/Mollini Sketchbook and a waterproof pen that are yours to keep. You will also have access to a range of watercolours and other media to add to your drawings and journalling...
Tea/coffee and some light refreshments included...
